The modern sporting center was build in Hudinja of which the Football Stadium Celje Arena Petrol (build between 1999 and 2003) and the Goldenhorn Hall are main buildings.
Hudinja consists of two informal parts, Lower and Upper Hudinja ("Spodnja" and "Zgodnja Hudinja").
