This is a list of players with fewer than 50 career appearances for Gillingham F.C. It includes all players who have made at least one appearance in the Football League but have made fewer than 50 total appearances for the club in major competitions. Players in this range include Tom Gilbey, who scored the club's first ever goal in the Football League, and Luke Freeman, who holds the record for the youngest player ever to play for the club.

"Appearances and goals are for matches in the Football League, FA Cup, Football League Cup, Football League Trophy, Football League Third Division South Cup and Football League Group Cup. Substitute appearances are included. Players marked with a double asterisk (**) played for the club prior to 1920 or between 1938 and 1950, when the club played in the Southern League and Kent League rather than the Football League, [cite web|url=http://www.fchd.info/GILLINGH.HTM|title=Gillingham|publisher=The Football Club History Database|accessdate=2007-09-25] and appearances in these competitions, along with the Southern League Cup and Kent League Cup, are also included in their totals. "Caps" refers to full international caps gained while on the books of Gillingham. Statistics correct as of 13 September 2008. Players marked in" "bold" "are still playing for the club."
