cove at the south side ofLehrke Inlet on the east coast ofPalmer Land . Mapped byUnited States Geological Survey (USGS) in 1974. Named byAdvisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) forHenry A. Imshaug ,United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP)biologist in a long-range biosystematic study of subantarctic floras with research atIslas Juan Fernandez , 1965-66;Falkland Islands , 1967-68;Chile anarchipelago , 1969;Campbell Island , 1969-70; andIles Kerguelen , 1970-71.
