Susenyos II of Ethiopia

Susenyos II (or Greek Sissinios) was "IPA|nəgusä nägäst" (June 1770 – December 23 1770) of Ethiopia. He was proclaimed king by three generals of Ras Mikael Sehul: Gusho, Wand Bewossen, and Ayadar. These four marched into Gondar and deposed Tekle Haymanot II.

Susenyos quarrelled with Fasil, one of his major supporters, over imperial appointments, and Fasil withdew his support. Seriously weakened, Susenyos and his three military supporters were forced to abandon the city of Gondar. Ras Mikael Sehul entered the capital city on 23 December, restored Tekle Haymanot, and began a purge of his enemies whom he found in the city.
