Benedicta was born in
Knadrup i NorthernSjälland in Denmark between 1165 and 1170 as the child of Ebbe Sunesson Hvide and was in about the year of 1185 married to Sverker Karlsson.In 1195, her husband became king and she became queen of Sweden.
