Ghurki

Ghurki (Urdu: گھرکی ) is the name of a prominent political family in Punjab, Pakistan. The Ghurki are a clan of the Arain tribe. Their family village is also named as Ghurki.

*Asghar Ghurki (MNA in 1985 and 1988)
*Arshad Ghurki (MNA in 1989 after his father's death)
*Khalid Javaid Ghurki (MNA in 1993 currently Town Nazim of Wagah Town, Lahore). A senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party. He is also a close associate of President Asif Ali Zardari.
*Muhammad Iqbal Ghurki (Former Provincial Transport Minister)
*Samina Khalid Ghurki (MNA in 2002 and 2008)
*Farooq Yousuf Ghurki (currently Provincial Minister for Information and Technology)
