# "Carpe Corpus" (TBD 2009, Signet Books);Glass Houses: Is the first book in the series. College freshman Claire Danvers has had enough of her nightmarish dorm situation. Being two years younger at sixteen and already smarter than most in the party college, TPU (or better known as TPEWWWW) life was never going to be easy. Monica Morell, Jennifer and Gina, or better known as the Monikettes beat her up and make her life hell. Monica is the most popular girl in the college and she has connections. The popular girls never let her forget just where she ranks in the school's social scene: somewhere less than zero. After a violent confrontation Claire is threatened that she will "get what's coming to her" by Monica. She begins to really believe that they are attempting to kill her and that if she stays in the dorm they will. When Claire heads off-campus however, the imposing old house where she finds a room may not be that much better. Her new roommates, Eve, Shane and Michael all have their secrets, but the biggest secret of all isn't really a secret at all - well, only to Claire. But Claire and her new friends come out fighting when the town's deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood.
Dead Girls dance:Is the second in the series and continues from the cliffhanger of the first. It marks the arrival of Shanes' Vampire hunting dad, who has come to town at the end of the previous book at his sons request, hellbent on destroying every vampire he can find. This, as well as other strange happenings end up landing Shane in trouble, resulting in Eve and Claire having to go undercover at a local fraternity's annual party, the Dead Girls Dance. And when that happens all hell is really going to break loose.
