Sonny & Cher wanted to create a great album, to repeat the success of "Look at Us" and decided to call the album "This Good Earth".
Originally, "This Good Earth" was planned at released after "In Case You're In Love", maybe in the 1970 or in 1971. Sonny & Cher recorder the song for this album between 1968 and 1970. Some of the songs were released as a single (Only the Side-A is available, but very hard to find), but the album remain totally unreleased.
The album is also inscribed in the Lillian Roxon's Rock Encyclopedia.
