James Pulham and Son

James Pulham and Son

James Pulham and Son were a renowned firm of Victorian landscape gardeners. They specialised in the creation of picturesque rock gardens, constructed from both natural and artificial rock, ferneries, follies and grottoes. They manufactured a wide range of top quality terracotta and Pulhamite garden ornaments. They won several medals and exhibited at the Great Exhibition of 1862.

There were four generations of James Pulhams, with each successive eldest son called James, and each James continuing the business of his father.
