"Mister Guitar" is the title of a recording by guitarist Chet Atkins, released in 1959. That title, as well as "Country Gentleman", became monikers assigned to Chet.

"Country Gentleman", co-written with Boudleaux Bryant, was a minor hit for Atkins in 1953. That original version was recorded in a garage.Atkins, Chet and Neely, Bill. (1974). "Country Gentleman". Chicago. Harry Regnery Company. ISBN 0-8092-9051-0.] The liner notes are by David Halberstam, then writing for The Tennessean in Nashville, Tennessee.

"Mister Guitar" was later packaged with "Chet Atkins in Three Dimensions" and released on CD in 1998 by One Way Records and along with "Chet Atkins' Workshop" in 2002 by Classic Compact Disc (Disc 2103).
