Saintfiet coached in several countries like Qatar (
Al-Gharafa Sports Club (former Al Etehad SC) and Qatar U17), Germany (BV Cloppenburg ), Faroe Islands (B71 Sandoy ) and Holland (Stormvogels Telstar ,FC Emmen 's U23-U19).Before going to Namibia, Saintfiet was manager of Finnish Premier League club
RoPS Rovaniemi.With Namibia he started very successfully by beating Comoros and Malawi and playing a draw against Lesotho in the Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup in South Africa in July 2008. Namibia were eliminated from the Quarter Final at the hands of subsequent winner and host South Africa. Saintfiet has UEFA A Pro licence which he achieved in 2000. In 2002, B71 were runners up in the Faroe Islands Premier League. In 2004 he helped Qatar U17 come third in the AFC Asian Championship U17 and qualify for the for the FIFA World Championship U17. Between 2006 and 2007 he worked as a technical advisor for the Kazakhstan Football Federation.
He has also worked as a TV football Analyst for Belgian Television and a translator for the DFB, and has also studied Sport psychology and Economic psychology.
