Halfrican

Halfrican is a possibly pejorative term used to refer to a person of both Black African and White European ancestry.

Usage

On January 24, 2007, Rush Limbaugh used the term in reference to both Halle Berry and Barack Obama. [ cite web| url=http://mediamatters.org/items/200701240010?f=s_search|title=Limbaugh on Obama: "Halfrican American"|accessdate=2008-03-19 ]

On December 6, 2006, Brian Sussman used the term also in reference to Barack Obama. [ cite web| url=http://mediamatters.org/items/200612070006?f=s_search|title=Melanie Morgan co-host on "Halfrican" Obama|accessdate=2008-03-19 ] He later publicly apologized.
