Samuel Beníquez was born on
October 28 inSanturce ,Puerto Rico . His identity was allegedly snatched at the age of two. His mother, was reportedly coerced byTeófilo Vargas Seín "Aaron" (leader of the multimillionaireCongregation Mita in Aaron, a Puerto Rican church)into giving up the boy for adoption. The boy was adopted by her aunt and uncle to hide thatTeófilo Vargas Seín "Aarón" was his alleged biological father and to maintain his image of chastity and holiness. Antonia Beniquez, Samuel's biological mother, lived with her aunt and uncle passing as the child's nanny. This allowed her to raise the child.At the age six, the boy suspected something unusual. He reportedly felt his "parents" were distantly warm. He claimed he did not feel the affection that must children feel from their parents. Samuel asked his nanny about his origins and she disclosed that she was his biological mother and identified Aaron as his biological father.
Later on, Antonia married a good and honorable man. She left her aunt & uncle's home with Samuel, her child.
Samuel began studying the clarinet under Antonia at an early age. The clarinet was his first instrument. Samuel mastered his instrument and by the age of 14 and became a member of Congregacion Mita's band. He studied and also mastered the guitar, the saxophone and the flute. He also sang and composed.
At age 21, Samuel was promoted to Regional Director of an important investments and insurance company. Three years later, seeking more, he invited his half-brother and business colleague Samuel Ortiz into starting their own business. Samuel Ortiz is also an accomplished musician.
Samuel Beniquez, and his half-brother Samuel Ortiz, established their first business venture, called Imperial Music Studio, in the Condado area of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This business was a music and visual arts school. The instructional books were produced and sold by the school. They soon became successful.
Samuel Beníquez studied law at Kaplan University, Iowa, and his half-brother Samuel Ortiz studied music at Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico.
Samuel Beniquez is co-author/composer of musical scores like "Histeria", "Dame de ti", "Inevitable", "Todo fue por", "Si a ti te gusta" and some other 24 scores. In collaboration with Samuel Ortiz, he produced produced the albums: "Histeria" and "Off Da' Hook", winning the Paoli Award for best new artist in 2002. Their achievements led them into becoming voting members of "The Recording Academy" and "The Latin Recording Academy". Under the pseudonym of Miguel Amadeus, he wrote the best seller book titled: "Tu Alto Precio... Mi Gran Valor" in the year 2004.
Samuel Beniquez and his half-brother Samuel Ortiz are members of the Board of Directors of [http://www.ssbogroup.com/ SSBO Group] and SSBO Music. They were also managers of the famous Puerto Rican singer Celines and other artists that have toured Europe, United States and the Caribbean. Their passion is to help other people overcome personal obstacles and take the control over their lives. They have become role models through their constant struggle to overcome difficult beginnings. They have inspired and helped hundreds of people make changes in their lives and achieve their dreams.
