Renier of St Laurent [Reiner, Reinerus monachus S. Laurentii Leodiensis, Reinierus Leodiensis, Rainerus.] (died 1188) was a twelfth-century
Benedictine monk ofSt Laurent Abbey ,Liège . He known as a writer, of theological and exegetical works [Miri Rubin , "Corpus Christi: The Eucharist in Late Medieval Culture" (1991), p. 165.] , controversial and historical works, and numerous biographical and hagiographical works [LeahShopkow (translator), "The History of the Counts of Guines and Lords of Ardres By Lambert of Ardres" (2007), p. 206.] . Works by him are in "Patrologia Latina " and "Monumenta Germaniae Historica ".The "Triumphale Bulonicum" [In "Monumenta Germaniae Historica, Scriptores", t. XX; "Patrologia Latina" 204.] is a chronicle and commemorates the 1141 siege of the
