Jim McKenzie (ice hockey b. 1984)

Jim McKenzie (born June 10, 1984 in Saint Paul, Minnesota ) is a professional ice hockey player, currently playing for the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

Playing career

Jim first played junior hockey with US National under-18 team in 2000. The following year he moved up to the US National junior team, and played regularly with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. He moved to the Sioux Falls Stampede for two seasons. He was drafted in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators, 141st overall. He then entered Michigan State University, playing three seasons of NCAA hockey. In the 2007 off-season, Jim signed with the Ottawa Senators and was assigned to the Binghamton Senators, first playing several games with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. He played his High School Hockey at Hill Murray High School and he played youth hockey in Woodbury Minnesota
