Jim McKenzie (born
June 10 ,1984 inSaint Paul, Minnesota ) is a professionalice hockey player, currently playing for theBinghamton Senators of theAmerican Hockey League .Playing career
Jim first played junior hockey with US National under-18 team in 2000. The following year he moved up to the US National junior team, and played regularly with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. He moved to the Sioux Falls Stampede for two seasons. He was drafted in the
2004 NHL Entry Draft by theOttawa Senators , 141st overall. He then enteredMichigan State University , playing three seasons of NCAA hockey. In the 2007 off-season, Jim signed with the Ottawa Senators and was assigned to theBinghamton Senators , first playing several games with theElmira Jackals of theECHL . He played his High School Hockey at Hill Murray High School and he played youth hockey in Woodbury MinnesotaExternal links
