Arnold Kelly

Arnold Kelly is a Jamaican Broadcaster.

Graduate of Cornwall College Started out hosting "What's Right With Teenagers" on JBC Radio West in 1986. Freelancing as cartoonist with the Western Mirror. Worked as a photographer / videographer at his brother's business in May Pen, Clarendon

1988 - Employed as Technical Operator , continued on "What's Right" while also hosting a Country and Western feature and "Gospel Journey".

1990 - JBC Radio West sold to Western Broadcasting Services, station became Radio WAVES (Hot 102) Arnold continues as technical operator and gets more involved in on-air work. Later on his Sunday morning show "Sunday Cavalcade" records highest listenership for Radio Waves.

1992-1993: Hosts weekday morning show in addition to Sunday Calvalcade. Other features included the morning comedy "Long John's Short Tales" It was during this period that he introduced Ron Muschette to the airwaves. Ron continues to be a big hit on Jamaican radio.

1994:- Employed to Love 101 FM as Producer/Presenter. Relocates to Kingston.

1996: Studies Mass Communication at Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC)University of The West Indies.

2005: Teams up with Linda Berthier to produce the regional version of The Caribbean Hour which launched on 4 stations.

2006:- Resigns Love FM position of Production Manager. takes up new job at Northern Caribbean University as Coordinator, Media Affairs.

2008 figures show 8 stations airing the weekly broadcast of The Caribbean Hour.
