His first film, "Wrong Numbers" is a low-budget comedy with humanity about two 18-year-old guys, best friends since the first grade, who set out to forget their girlfriend troubles and buy a six pack on the last night of school. The two are taken on an all-night adventure. The movie won the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival in 2001 and was immediately pursued by Hollywood Studios to be remade.
