Greek War of Independence and a politician.He was born in 1790 and was the son of Athanassios, a part of the historic Petimezades family and the brother of Vassilios. He fled for
Zakynthos (then Zante) and resided with the English batallion in theIonian Islands and became a officer.During the start of the revolution, he returned to the
Peloponnese along with other Petmezades and won many battles. With the power of 600 men, he conquered theMega Spilaio in 1826 and won the attack against Ibrahim. Later, he became an attorney of the province of Kalavryta and later he was elected as a politician.He died in
Kalavryta in 1865, he was erected a statue in the hear of Kalavryta.References
