St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School is a private, coeducational Roman Catholic college-preparatory school located in the historic district of Summerville in Augusta, Georgia. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah.

History

Originally named as Mount St. Joseph School, the school was established in 1913 by the Georgia province of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. The school's current campus was built in 1960 and the newest addition was completed in the 2001-2002 school year. St. Mary's currently has a total of 24 classrooms.

Academics

In the world of Spanish and French language, students in kindergarten are allowed to take foreign language classes while starting in the 3rd grade, students are required to take Spanish classes and students are required to take French classes starting in the 7th grade.
