Lombe Mwambwa (born July 17, 1983 in
Mufulira ) is aZambia n development practitioner and advocate for gender equity and women's empowerment.Education
Lombe was educated at Lukanga Primary School in
Kabwe , Zambia and St Therese Girls Secondary School inKasama . She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies and Public Administration at theUniversity of Zambia in 2006.Career
Lombe has worked at the [http://www.kalushafoundation.org Kalusha Foundation] since 2004, and been involved in the establishment of various projects at the organisation.
Her involvement in advocacy for women's empowerment dates back to her membership in a children's peer education programme called " Child to Child" during her Primary School education. She is at present the Advocacy Coordinator at the National Organisation of Women in Sport Physical Activity and Recreation (NOWSPAR) [ [http://www.sportanddev.org/data/document/document/410.pdf 404 Error ] ] .
