NSB BM89 is a diesel-electric railcar used by Norges Statsbaner between 1981 and 1988. They were bought from Statens Järnvägar of Sweden, and used on Flekkefjordbanen until 1988. A private company, Continental Railways, bought them and tried to operate the railway, but failed. Some of the cars have been preserved in Sweden.
