Sextilus

: "Also see: Sextilis in 10-month Roman calendar".In the 12-month Roman calendar, Sextilus is after Quintilus (and "Quintilus" is also a Roman name). "Sextilus" was the former Latin name for the sixth (later eighth) month in the Roman calendar that occurred after Quintilus and before Septembris. The month of Sextilus/Sextilis was renamed to "Augustus" in honor of Caesar Augustus, who ruled Rome after Julius Caesar.
