4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division (United States)

The 4th Brigade Combat Team, "Highlanders", is a combined arms armored Brigade of the 1st Armored Division. 4th BCT was organized in 2005 at Fort Bliss, Texas. It was originally part of the
1st Cavalry Division. The brigade re-flaged to the 1st Armored on March 5, 2008.

Its major equipment includes M1A2SEP Abrams Tanks, M2A3 & M3A3 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, M109A6 Paladin Howitzers, and M1114 Up-armored Humvees.
