Sky Saxon (real name Richard Marsh, born in
Salt Lake City, Utah ) is an Americanrock and roll singer.He was the singer of 1960s
garage rock bandThe Seeds . Saxon began his career performing doo-wop influenced pop tunes in the early 60s under the name Little Richie Marsh. After changing his name to Sky Saxon, he began playing with the Electra-Fires and the Soul Rockers before finally starting the legendary psych group The Seeds in 1965.In the 1970s he became a member of The Source Family, a communal religious group lead by

Sky Sunlight Saxon is currently involved in a number of musical projects including his band King Arthur's Court. King Arthur's Court is described as a neo-tribal, shamanic, psychedelic musical group that plays with an improvisational style in the same spirit as
Ya Ho Wa 13 , regarded as one of the best American psychedelic bands. Sky Sunlight Saxon formed King Arthur's Court along with other original Ya Ho Wa 13 member Djin Aquarian (guitars). Other band members include Steve Kozyk aka Scones (bass), Aaron Basler aka Aon Slane (keyboards), and Justino Polimeni (percussion). King Arthur's Court toured the US West Coast in March 2008. Sky currently resides in Marin County California when he is not in the studio or on tour.Sky Saxon and the Seeds are currently writing and recording new songs with Kerry Brown and
