Yumiko Ashikawa

Yumiko Ashikawa (Tokyo, 1989) is a Japanese singer-songwriter.

In 1997, when she was 8 years old, she wrote and sung "La pioggia" (The rain) (雨) for the Zecchino d'Oro, with music from Minoru Kainuma and Italian text from Sergio Menegale.

Yumiko is the youngest author to have written for the Zecchino d'Oro.
