Shankar Prasad Sharma

Dr. Shanker Prasad Sharma is, as of 2010, the Nepalese Ambassador to the United States. Formerly a member of the government of Nepal, Dr. Sharma held numerous positions such as Vice Chairman at the National Planning Commission in Nepal (1999–2006), Chief Advisor in Ministry of Finance (1997–1999), and Senior Economist in Institute of South East Asian Studies (1986–1993).
