Ignico, Aileen Quinn and Angela Lee were the final three girls up for the role of Annie, in the 1982 film. Quinn eventually won the role, while Robin was given the part of Duffy. Angela Lee had the misfortune of resembling Aileen too much, so was only given a role as an extra. Near the beginning of "Hard-Knock Life", the film shows a girl sound asleep on her feet at the top of the stairs. This is Angela Lee.cite web|url=http://members.aol.com/jonmerrill/anniemovie.htm|title=Jon Merrill's "Annie" Movie Trivia|accessdate=2008-02-20 |author=Jon Merrill website |date=2007]
