Lauren Nicole Pritchard was born on December 27, 1987. She was raised in
Jackson ,Tennessee . She has two brothers, one in the army, the other a ballet dancer. At the age of 14 she started to write her own music. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother at 16 in an attempt to land a recording contract, but to no avail. After a year of nothing, she acquired a new agent and landed an audition for "Spring Awakening" and was cast as Ilse in the Off-Broadway cast. She moved with the show as it transferred to Broadway.
