"Smile Pretty, Say Pink" is the 20th cartoon produced in the "Pink Panther" series. A total of 124 6-minute cartoons were produced between 1964 and 1980.

Plot

A photographer visits Pinkstone National Park to take some pictures of gorgeous scenery. However, he opts not to donate at the donations box at the park entrance. Inside the box is the Pink Panther, insulted that the photographer is a cheapskate. Naturally, the feline tries his best to make the photographer's visit a living hell.

Every time the photographer attempts to snap a picture with his crank-operated camera, the Pink Panther quietly appears in the picture, unbeknownst to the beleaguered photographer. [ [http://dfe.goldenagecartoons.com/ DePatie-Freleng website] "]

Notes

Although Lava's music were eventually used in the later Pink Panther shorts, this was the last Pink Panther short that credits William Lava for the music.
