Soo Singapore Jerky (Soo Jerky), a meat and jerky manufacturing company developed and residing in Canada, first started operations in 1985 by selling to small and local markets in Vancouver's Chinatown. The following year, they made their first official debut at Vancouver's Expo 86. By 1989, Soo Jerky had established itself as a Canadian federally inspected plant, and in 1999 they adopted and achieved the HACCP certification.
