History

The station went on the air as KRKX on 1983-08-22. On 1988-02-28, the station changed its call sign to KZRC. On 1999-08-13 it changed again to KGUY, and on 2004-03-15 to KZNY. On 2006-05-16 the calls became KSZN and on 2007-01-18 to KMUZ. On 2008-02-01 the calls became the current KOOR.
