B. N. Suresh (Byrana Nagappa Suresh) is a well known aerospace scientist of India. He is former Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram during the period 2003-2007. He is known for his contribution to Space Capsule Recovery Experiments (SRE).

Suresh is currently serving as the Director of Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram.

Awards

*He is a recipient of Padma Shri award by Government of India in 2002.
*Distinguished Alumni Award - IIT Madras (2004).
*"Agni Award" of the Defence Ministry in 1999.
*ASI Award instituted by the Astronautical Society of India.
