10 November 1986 in Levin, growing up in Shannon, New Zealand is anAustralian Rugby Union player for theQueensland Reds in theSuper 14 competition. Born in New Zealand, Houston's family moved to Australia in 2000. Houston was educated at Asquith Boys High School inSydney . Houston originally played for theNew South Wales Waratahs from 2005 where he was picked to tour with the Wallabies where he played for Australia A before playing a Super 14 game. However in 2007 the pressure of professional rugby proved to much for Houston and missed many team functions and training sessions leading to eventual release from the Waratahs. Houston took time off to think and eventually decided to sign with theQueensland Reds for the 2008 season, receiving the Rookie of the Year Award. Houston made his debut for Queensland in a pre-season trial against his old club the Waratahs. Since the injury toHugh McMeniman in round 2 of the season Houston has been in the Reds starting season and scored his first try for the Reds against theStormers .External links
