PSR B1828-10 is a pulsar approximately 11,812 light-years away in the constellation of Scutum. It is speculated that this pulsar, may in fact, be a quark star. As of|1992, it is though that three extrasolar planets orbit the star, but have not been confirmed and are now considered doubtful. If confirmed, they may be considered the first "quark planets" ever to be discovered.
