Leanne Jones is a British actress, born on the 21st March 1985 in Stoke on Trent, England, from St Ives, Cambridgeshire, England; currently living in London. Studied at Mountview Theatre School in Wood Green [ The Independent 20th October 2007 ] , north London, graduating in 2006. Apart from two minor productions, Jones first professional role was that of Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 London production of "Hairspray".

Debut

Her London West End debut as Tracy Turnblad in the musical "Hairspray" won her a Laurence Olivier Award on the 9th March 2008 for Best Actress in a Musical.
