Edward Fernandez

Edward Anthony Fernandez Lavandier (born June 15, 1978) is son of a Dominican politician and social leader in the Dominican Republic. He is the apparent heir of his family's fortune estimated to be over 500 million dollars. He was born in New York, United States, but spent his childhood and formative years in New Jersey, United States.
Born to a Spaniard father and a Dominican mother, he spent most of his early life in Secaucus, New Jersey. From ages six to ten, he lived in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with his aunt. A graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology, Edward worked as a community organizer and university lecturer.

Early life and Responsibilities
Edward was born on June 15th, 1978 in New York, New York to Edward Anthony Fernandez Lavandier, Sr. (born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and Maria Altagracia Lavandier (born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).Throughout his early years, he was commonly known at home and school as "Eddie". Edward's parents met while both were attending the University of Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales in Dominican Republic, where they were both enrolled. They separated when he was five years old and later divorced. His father went to Harvard University to pursue Ph.D. studies, then returned to New York, New York, where he resided until 1986. His mother never married again. Edward attended local schools in Dominican Republic from ages 6 to 10, where classes were taught in Spanish and English. He then returned to New Jersey to live with his Father while attending School from the eight grade until his graduation in 1996.

Edward has no formal role or responsibility that has been legislated by his family. Edward, has created the following three roles for himself:

Undertaking royal duties in support of The Family
Working as a charitable entrepreneur
Promoting and protecting nationalisation, virtues and excellence

Today, Edward resides in Secaucus, New Jersey.
