Stavros Vavoúris was born in
Athens ,Greece , in 1925, suffering acerebral palsy .Vavoúris, Stavros. In the same year he published his first collection of poetry entitled "Here You Imagine Gallops and Waves" ("Εδώ φαντάσου καλπασμούς και κύματα"). He taught in several schools in different parts of Greece and Athens. He worked at the Ministry of Education from 1964 to 1967. He was appointed a high school director in 1980 and remained in that positions until 1984, when he had to quit due to health problems. He is author to twelve poetry books that have been translated to english, polish and german.Works
