Amman Baccalaureate School

The Amman Baccalaureate School (ABS) is a coeducational and profit private school located in Amman, Jordan, founded in 1981 by Prince Hassan bin Al Talal and Princess Sarvath [ [http://www.jordan.jo/en/en-news/wmview.php?ArtID=8847 ABS celebrates 25th anniversary] ] . It caters for students from 3–18 years old, and is considered one of the best schools in the Middle East.Fact|date=March 2007 It is affiliated with the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) [ [http://www.ibo.org/school/000195/ IBO profile] ] . Many of its students have gone to some of the top universities in the world, including McGill, Cornell, Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial College, Harvard, Princeton, and MIT.

Its students and administration hold an annual Model United Nations conference ("AMMUN"), and an annual charity fair. The school also holds many sports tournaments, in football, basketball, volleyball, track and field and softball.
