29 March 1896 –12 March 1960 ) was a Dutch football player who is best known for his association withNAC Breda , whoseRat Verlegh Stadion is named in his honour.In 1906 Verlegh formed the Ginnekensche Voetbal Vereniging, which joined NOAD in 1908. In 1912 NOAD and ADVENDO combined to form NAC, for whom Verlegh immediately began playing. In 1920 he was selected for the Dutch national side, and played for the national side on eight occasions until 1927. He retired from playing for NAC in 1931, and died in a car accident in 1960.
