Philip Paretzky

Philip Paretzky (1917-1992) was a rosh yeshiva and bochen (examiner) at Yeshiva University.

He also served for more than 25 years as the head of the Young Israel Synagogue of Tremont in the Bronx.

Rabbi Paretzky was born and ordained in Poland. He earned a master's degree in Semitics from Columbia and a law degree from Fordham [cite web
