Gašo Knezević

Gašo Knezević

Gašo Knežević (born 15 September, 1953 in Belgrade) is a Serbian law scholar. He is a professor at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, and is best known for serving as Serbia's Education Minister.

Between October of 2000 and January 2001 he served as the Minister of Higher Education in the interim government formed after the fall of Slobodan Milošević. He then served as the Minister of Education and Sport from 2001 to 2004.

Knežević was a member and a high-ranking official of the Civic Alliance of Serbia.
