Brig o' Turk

Brig o' Turk

Brig o' Turk (or Brig of Turk) ("Àird Cheannchnocain" in Gaelic) is a small community in the Trossachs, a range of hills in Stirling, Scotland. Its name is derived from the Gaelic "Tuirc" meaning wild boar. Brig O Turk features a property bond (Tigh Mor Trossachs), a village hall (which hosts many craft fairs, dances and other events) and a delightful pub-restaurant, called The Byre Inn, which in previous years was indeed a cow barn attached to the large neighbouring house, Dundarroch.
