Zahida Manzoor

Zahida Parveen Manzoor CBE (born 25 May 1958) is an English businessperson and civil servant, as of 2008, the Legal Services Complaints Commissioner and Legal Services Ombudsman.

She became a lecturer then held various positions in National Health Service administration. In 1993, Manzoor became a member of the Commission for Racial Equality, becoming Deputy Chairman from 1993-1995. She went on to become a member of the Board of Governors of Sheffield Hallam University and a trustee on the Board of the NSPCC. From 1996-2003, she was cofounder and director of Intellisys Limited, an information technology and management consultancy business. She was appointed Legal Services Ombudsman in 2003 and Legal Services Complaints Commissioner in 2004.

She married Madassar Manzoor in 1984 and the couple have two daughters. Manzoor describes her recreations as antiques, gardening, painting and visiting historic buildings.
