Zahida Parveen Manzoor CBE (born 25 May 1958) is an English
businessperson andcivil servant ,as of 2008 , theLegal Services Complaints Commissioner andLegal Services Ombudsman .Manzoor was born in

She became alecturer then held various positions inNational Health Service administration. In 1993, Manzoor became a member of theCommission for Racial Equality , becoming Deputy Chairman from 1993-1995. She went on to become a member of the Board of Governors ofSheffield Hallam University and atrustee on the Board of theNSPCC . From 1996-2003, she was cofounder and director of Intellisys Limited, aninformation technology andmanagement consultancy business. She was appointed Legal Services Ombudsman in 2003 and Legal Services Complaints Commissioner in 2004.She married Madassar Manzoor in 1984 and the couple have two daughters. Manzoor describes her recreations as
antiques ,gardening ,painting and visiting historic buildings.Honours
