Robert Eeuwes [YOOZ] (born July 24, 1985 in Toronto, Ontario) is a punter / kicker with the University of Windsor's varsity football team, the Windsor Lancers of the CIS. He participated in pre-season training camps with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League in 2007 and 2008.

Early career

A product of Nelson High School in Burlington, Ontario, he graduated from McGill University in 2006 with an arts degree, majoring in political science and industrial relations. He led the McGill Redmen in scoring during each of his last three seasons, while averaging 34.0 yards per punt and connecting on 65.6% of his field goal attempts (21 of 32). He registered 46 points over eight games in 2004, 25 points over five games in 2005 and 45 points in seven games during his senior year.

His best game as a place-kicker for the Redmen was on October 23 2004, when he kicked five field goals in a 29-13 victory at Mount Allison.

In 2007, Eeuwes received an invitation from the Toronto Argonauts' to observe their pre-season training camp. It was there where he learned about life as a professional football kicker from Noel Prefontaine, who also imparted some of his kicking advice. In 2008, he signed as a free agent with the Toronto Argonauts and attended training camp. Awards

In 2005, he won the Vaughan McVey trophy as the McGill special teams player of the year after finishing third in the conference (16th in the nation) in punting yards with 1,728 yards on 51 punts.
