Daniel Steven Holland is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing the 16th district since 1985. He was also a contender for the Democratic nomination in Mississippi's 1st congressional district special election, 2008 but he lost the Primary runnoff to Travis Childers.
