Shinya Katabuchi

nihongo|Shinya Katabuchi|片渕 慎弥|Katabuchi Shinya|born 24 October 1983 is a Japanese judoka.

He was born in Kishiwada, Osakacite news|publisher=ベースボールマガジン社|title=近代柔道2004年2月号 平成15年度後期全日本強化選手名鑑] , and began judo at the age of 8. He entered the Japan Racing Association after graduating from Kokushikan University.

December 9, 2007, He defeat world champion, Teddy Riner at Jigoro Kano Cup Judo World Grandprix.
