Nin Matharu

Nin Matharu aka Narinder Singh Matharu is the son of Kuldip Singh Matharu, one of the UK's leading tabla teachers or ustad as he is known. Nin's uncle Ajit Singh Mutlashi is also an established music teacher who is known the world over. He is a very respected individual who has taught many of today's practicing musicians. One of his students who has gained worldwide fame is Sukshinder Shinda [http://www.sukshindershinda.com] . Sukshinder Shinda has studied under both ustads (Kuldip Matharu & Ajit Singh Mutlashi). His grounding in the music industry has helped him reach the height of fame that he now has.

Nin has now started his journey onto the music scene as a music producer. He has been lucky enough to have studied under Ajit Singh Mutlashi and this grounding of music has given him a solid foundation upon which to build. Nin has been a practising musician, who has been playing in the live field as well as a recording artist for the last 15yrs. He has played Guitars/Mandolins on a number of albums from the following artists:

Sukshinder Shinda, Jazzy B, Dr Zeus & many more.

Playing the live circuit the world over has given him an opportunity of experiencing many different styles of music. From this he has been able create his unique sound. Nin has produced many tracks over the last 10yrs, they have been widespread over many many albums. However September 2007 saw him on his first outing as a music producer on the album "FINALLY". This album was the launching platform for Nin and also his protege Tony Chana. Nin said of Tony "He will definitely become one of the biggest singing UK artist within the next two years".

2008 will see Nin releasing his debut album which will change the sound of bhangra and move the music game to the next level.
