Jovana Janković (Serbian Cyrillic: Јована Јанковић) (born April 25, 1981 in Belgrade, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia) is a Serbian television personality and host described as the trade mark of Radio Television of Serbia, the national broadcaster of the country. Together with Željko Joksimović, she was the host of the 53rd edition of Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade.

Career

Jovana Janković started her early television career at the age of 19. While completing university Janković received a job offer at BKTV. She started off as an entertainment reporter working for shows "Blockbuster" and "Trailer" both related to the world of cinema. Noticing her talents, the director of Serbia's national television RTS, Aleksandar Tijanić, proposed for Jovana to move to the national broadcaster giving her title of anchor woman of "Jutarnji program" (Morning Programme) aired weekdays from 6am to 9am. Because of her age Janković has received the nickname of “Tijanić’s baby” as she is one of the youngest working at the network next to her co-host. Her height is billed as 1.60cm but she appeared taller in high heels at Eurovision 2008 held at Belgrade.

Jovana Janković hosted the draw for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals in the Belgrade city hall. On March 4, 2008, it was announced that together with Željko Joksimović, Jovana would co-host the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade, Serbia which was held from 20 – 24 May 2008 in the Belgrade Arena. Personal life

Jovana Janković was engaged to Alexander Zeremsky in early 2008, while Eurovision co-host Željko Joksimović was in a relationship with Adriana Cortan, a TV host for Serbian Pink television. In July Jovana split from fiancé Alexander and Željko from girlfriend Adriana. On September 29, 2008, they made their first public appearance as a romantic couple, at the Antonis Remos concert, at the Belgrade "Sava Center".
