"Who's Gonna Save My Soul" is the third single taken from Gnarls Barkley's second studio album "The Odd Couple". It is played in a blues style.

Music video

The video was directed by Chris Milk and was July 25, 2008.

The video is set in a diner, with the song playing throughout in the background. The key events revolving around a couple while they are separating. The man then stabs himself in the chest, and pulls out his heart, places it on the table and gives it to the woman. He explains to the woman that his heart "is actually hers now", that he'll "never be able to get over her, and from now on every girl that I meet will be meticulously compared to the false memory of what you and i once 'had'".

The woman tries to reason with him, stating whether she could keep it temporarily, and eventually, return it to him. The man, describing himself as heartless, says that it, "unfortunately, does not work that way, I will now treat each women with a passive/aggressive contentiousness that will ruin relationship after relationship for years to come." The heart then comes to life, growing arms, legs and a mouth, and begins to sing the lyrics to the song on the counters of the diner into a piece of broccoli before finally stabbing itself with a knife and pulling the man's head out of its body. The head looks around, staring off into space.

The scene cuts back to the man staring out the window as the head is. When the woman finally asks "are you even listening?" The man replies with a simple "No."

The video features an appearance from Jorma Taccone of SNL and Hot Rod Fame [ [http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?vid=260332 MTV.com] ] .

The video also features Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse as chefs in the diner.
