Kompolt

The village with almost 2200 residents lays 17 kilometres from Füzesabony in Heves county, Hungary, towards the west, on the Gyöngyös even. It is situated at a distance of 2 kilometres both from road 3 and Budapest-Miskolc railway line. Kompolt also possesses a railway station on the branch line of Kál-Bátonyterenye.
